The weeks ahead are filled with the all the regular appointments, commitments, and home chores that we face throughout the year and now, at this time of year, we add in the visits, shopping trips, and programs of the holiday season.
For caregivers and their care receivers, extra planning can be overwhelming. The Caregiver Support Group would like to offer an opportunity to meet at our gatherings scheduled on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at the Black River Falls Public Library throughout November and December. Each gathering is from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
You may wonder how am I going to schedule another thing onto my calendar? This is an opportunity for you to take an hour to meet with other caregivers and join in a conversation on seasonal topics for this time of year.
The schedule includes: November 1 – questions and topics brought to the table by those attending: November 15 – Ways to Spend the Holidays; December 6 – Come and enjoy some light extra-ordinary treats; December 20 – Sharlene Bellefeuille, Community Outreach Specialist with the Alzheimer’s Association, will be back to join us to hear our questions and share ideas.
