Lets gather some resources to make it easier.

10 Quick Tips to use less gas.

  • Ease up. Driveing the speed limit can increase you gas mileage by up to 23 percent.
  • Take the shortcut.
  • Stay out of traffic jams.
  • Lighten up. An extra 100 pounds makes each gallon of gas worth up to 7 cents more.
  • Proper inflation of tires could increase mileage by 3 percent. That's worth about 10 per gallon, plus it's safer.
  • The correct oil in your car could mean a 2 percent reduction in fuel use.
  • Keeping tuned up increases gas mileage by about 10 percent.
  • Aggressive driving wastes up to 33 percent on the highway and 5 percent on city streets.
  • Combine trips
  • Park quickly. Don't circle around-take the nearest spot and walk.
